Hiyas
About a month ago me, Marc, DaveB and Eric - plus all the girls went out to Magalies on a great brekkie run at a fancy resort.
It's called the Valley Lodge, rated 4 stars - excellent buffet breakfast with all you can imagine including an omlette bar. Bit on the expensive side though.
Some pics of the place (courtesy of DaveB):
We all enjoyed it and stuffed ourselves silly, well I did anyways (I'm taking tupperware next time though!)
DaveB had to shoot off early as he had other plans for the afternoon.
On our way back though, the R6 decided to sieze it's chain. Lucky Eric noticed the noise and pulled off.
The chain was totaled - there was no way we were going anywhere, even at walking pace. Lifting the bike off the ground and spinning (well trying to) the rear wheel - it felt like it was in gear the whole time. Marc also had to make a dash as family were coming over.
Here we are baking in the sunshine. 'twas very very hot!
Luckily we managed to get hold of my brother-in-law who brought his bike trailer and we loaded the sick R6 up and took it home.
From breakfast we only got back home around 16H30. Pretty long day.
Oh well, Eric got a new chain (lucky the sprockets were not even worn a bit - he caught it in time), I stuck it on for him two weeks ago and all is well once more.
Who's up for breakfast. lol
