I ordered a right side Triumph Waxed Cotton/Leather bag and installed it. Very happy with the quality and functionality. This bag is large enough for me to take overnight trips and still have tools, clean underwear and a toothbrush. :)

What bags are you sporting?

Great looking bike TUP TUP
Years ago I bought Tourmaster Slant II bags which zip on and off quickly.
Tourmaster has a different but similar model now.
I only fit them when the need arises, otherwise I leave them off for that sleek, fast look BGRIN

Does the Wax Cotton Bags have the annoying hook and loop fastener like the other Triumph bags have. I was told at the time I got mine , that the wax cotton ones weren't available anymore. The other style is ok, but I hate the velcro.

They fasten with two plastic clips after sliding the bag onto the metal mount. They feel very secure and are very quick and easy to remove. I ordered them online last month so would be surprised if they weren't available anymore.

I had an extra pair of Wixom bags from the sixties that fit well on my Bonnie and look very period haven't quite finished project, have to powder coat the brackets after doing a little mod to make the brackets fit a Bonneville. Still deciding how to paint bags to match bike.

I should of clarified myself, are the lids fastened down with the buckle/snap and velcro. The velcro is annoying trying to get them open.

Rocky,

Its neat how removing the bags also changed the seat on your bike!

I have the Triumph brand slant bags on my 2003 T100 and they have started to sag now after 12 years or so on the bike. I couldn't tell you what is in either side to save my life, so I guess they need to come off.
