Seeing the video of the guy in the small tent who was scared by the rifle shot brought back good memories of the days in the 1990's when I did a lot of bike camping.
I retired in 1992 and all my friends were still working. I could ride with them on the weekends, but during the week I rode alone. I also enjoy riding alone so I often went for overnight rides to various parts of the province on the 1989 Honda NT650 that I bought new, still in the crate, in 1992. I was a wonderful bike and I rode it over 70,000 km's before I sold it in 1993. It's still with a club member, but it doesn't look like it did when I owned it CRY
These pics are from a run over the Cabot Trail in 1998. I stayed at this campground 4-5 times on my various rides over the Trail. The other shot is of a twisty section of the Trail where I stopped for a butt rest.
Around 2002 I had retired friends to ride with, but they weren't campers so I moved to motels after that and it didn't take me long to become spoiled

I still have all my camping gear, but will probably never use it again.
