Thats the strange thing G.
The speedys come stock with a polished and laquered rear wheel and a painted front.
The only reason I can think of is, with the twin discs up front, they may have figured a paint finish is easier to clean.
Time will tell, but I figure keeping it looking good will be a little more labour intensive.
