Well it’s been a while since I have had any time to think about bikes.
Living in a 450 year old cottage in France has its downsides, even disregarding the French!:sneaky:
Andrea was finding it increasingly difficult to get up and down the spiral stairs.
We went to Canada for a month and talked at length about the future.
I told her when I saw her coming up the stairs on all fours it was time to do something.
Had a wonderful time in Canada and decided to try and sell the French house and rent a bungalow in the UK.
We are now settled for a while at least in a rented bungalow in Devon.
The French house is on the market, could take forever to sell, who knows.
Anyway hope everyone here is safe and well, just heard from a friend in Canada first big fall of snow yesterday, keep safe and warm everyone.

Welcome back.

The wife and I have been doing a little looking at retiring and moving to another area. Some of the best locations that also have homes in the price range I would be satisfied with seem to be flooded with folks selling two story houses. The more I've looked at them the more I realize that the sellers are my age or older. One of these days the right place will come along. Good luck with selling your French place.

It took 2 years for us to sell our villa in spain, but over there as you know, you never really know if the place is legal or not. Turned out 3 months after we sold it to a Belgian couple it was illegal. So much for spanish lawyers and notery's.
It's not all bad in the UK apart from the crap weather. Look on the bright side, it'll be cheaper for you to get to the TT now. Hope all goes well for you both.
