Hello fellow Triumph owners!

I've owned a Street Triple R, a Thruxton, and a Bonneville T-100, so I'm no stranger to Triumph motorcycles. I think they make some of the best-looking bikes out there. But for the last 8 years or so I've been riding a BMW R1200GS. I recently traded it in for a new Tiger 900 Aragón Edition. I'm still getting used to the change, but I can tell it won't take long. The Tiger 900 is lighter and easier to handle at low speeds. It's got a lot of character and sounds better than the GS to my ears. And since my GS was a 2014, the Triumph feels quite advanced. Hoping to learn more about the bike and exchange thoughts on this forum.

Welcome from Prince Edward Island . It’s a looker for sure . Are Metzlers the standard rubber ?
Hello! Yes, I believe the Metzlers are standard on the 900 line. They've been fine so far, but I've only ridden about 400 miles and no off-road yet.

Michelin has been the stock tire up to 23 models . Could be yours is a 24 model and they have switched suppliers or yours being special gets the Metzler .

Hmm…I've only seen Metzler Tourance Next tires on the Tiger 900 GT line. I know the Triumph Tiger Sport 660 has Michelin Road 5s. One of the dealers I visited even made a point of telling me that the Michelin are better on the road than Metzler. I believe him and will probably consider getting Michelin Road 6s when the time comes.
