I hope the little chap's ok. I always wonder where and why people buy such exotic pets. I just have the regular cats and dogs, but as a kid on the farm, we did have an array of odd pets but all were indigenous and all adopted us or had been abandonned by the mother/troop. We had a couple of rescues too who chose not to leave once they'd healed.
My Daughter's Vet Hospital ( Animal General ) serves the Pittsburgh Aviary and this was one of the many rare and special birds that you can see there. This one was only getting his 6 Month check-up.
