I've used givi bags in the past. am considering a t100 and wonder if anyone is using givi bags. lots of different sizes available.

Just keep in mind, Universal fitment means it universally fits nothing without modification on your part.
yes, that is true. I've used givi panniers on my last 4 bikes which have been stroms and DR650s and been a happy camper but seems to be lots to choose from now. I haven't even sat on a t100 yet as the closest dealers for me are in las vegas or reno and either one is 4+hours drive 1 way.

The T100 has a seat height of 30.5 inches, about 2 inches shorter than your Vstrom, so getting a leg over is easier. Check you local Craigslist and see if anyone close to you has a T100 up for sale and you can at least go see it and maybe sit on one without a long drive. If you want really low to the ground the Bobber has the lowest seat to ground that Triumph makes. My 2020 Bobber Black has a 27 inch seat height: It's the easiest bike to get on and off in my stable.

yes getting a leg over requires staying flexible for this geezer! I see you are close behind.

Yup, and I'm also fatty at 320 lbs. Getting my leg over the Speed Triple RS is the hardest (at 32+"), but man oh man is it worth it. I look like a bear on a tricycle when I'm on it, but this bike just brings out the hooligan in me. With over 150 RWHP and only 430 lbs. it's a blast to ride.

I am using a pair of 16L Givi Corium saddlebags on my 2020 Bonneville T120. I bought the bike used, it was already fitted with the SLC mounts for the SW- Motech Legend gear bags. I purchased the SW-Motech SLC adapter plates and mounted them to the Givi saddlebags. Pretty easy to do. These work for me simply fine, and they have been holding up well. It's easy to take the bags off and to put them on. Also keeps the retro look to the bike.
I am also using the Givi 65L Ultima top bag for all my moto-camping gear and/or for touring. I like it because it is roomy, has a semi-hard bottom, waterproof inner liner, and wraps around the sides of the seat almost to the top of the saddlebags.
Hope this helps in your decision.

shopping for bags this is my favorite givi so far. now I need to visit a city to sit on a t100 just to make sure it works for me. next would be skid plate, rear rack, center stand. that might do it for a while.
