Anyone put RoxRisers on a Scrambler 1200 yet?

Thank you.
I was thinking of their 1.75” version but it sounds like that size would be problematic too.

The 1.5" worked great for me, but I wouldn't want to put any more strain on the cables than these do; so I wouldnt do the 1.75s. It may work if you reroute cables to get more slack.

Thank you.

Mine were the 2" rotating type. Some handlebar positions were OK, but slight movement and weird starting and shifting problems. Maybe 1.75 is all it takes. At 1st I thought they worked OK, and I told Rox they did work. Rox posted that based on my info., but I later adjusted the bars with slight rotation and the problem returned so I just took them off. If Rox hasn't had anyone try 1.75" maybe you could just return them if you have any issue. Install is very easy.

Just installed the 1.5” version. Would definitely NOT go any bigger as the cables are tight (just enough slack for my comfort zone).

I tried installing handlebar risers on my Scrambler 1200XC and the cabling was quite tight but I thought it was okay until I tried to start the bike. I reinstalled the original bars but I guess whatever i did testing the cable slack caused something to break/unplug. Any thoughts?

What are your symptoms? Is the dash lighting up but the starter not engaging, is the starter engaging but the bike just not starting, or is it just totally dead?

All Breyer now. Electrical plugs into the clutch-side controls were unplugged. Plugged them back in and all is good. Guess the 1.5” risers are problematic too.

I've had the 1.5 inch risers on mine for quite a while without any problems, but mine may have more slack in the lines from the factory. Also check to make sure you don't have something hung up somewhere. You may be able to tweak your cable routing a bit and make it work. If you can it is worth it. Might not seem like much, but that 1.5 inches went a long way toward improving my ride comfort.

I removed the tank so that I could make as much slack as possible for the 1.5” risers. I thought it was tight but just doable. Guess not for my bike. Too bad because I really liked the feel of the new bar position with the risers. Gone back to stock.

I raised the bars on my Scrambler 1200 today. Good info on the thread above. I did have a Roxy 2" that I was going to use but stopped after I read the troubles with the clutch cable and starting. The 2" raisers came off my old T120 with 1 1/8 " handle bars. IT did have a little trouble with making a hard right turn as it pulled in the clutch. Anyway, I found these 30 MM (1.18") risers for under $ 20 !!! DELIVERED. The only issue I had was the 4 new bolts they sent were about 1/2" too long so I spent another $ 8 at the local hardware store getting Stainless Steel hex bolts. The raise does make my riding position more relaxed and natural for me. I am 6' with long lanky arms.
