I really want to put some 2" risers on my scrambler 1200XC, but the one piece upper bar clamp that Triumph used on these bikes has me concerned that is is going to look really stupid with Rox Risers on it. Has anyone put them on a Scrambler 1200 yet? If so, I have 2 questions:
1) Can you use the Rox upper clamps on the down on the bike's lower bar mounts, and use the triumph upper clamp on the top part of the risers?
2) Can I see pics?

Thanks

I put the Helibars riser on my Tiger 800XC. The riser works well and blends in with bike looking factory installed. You would have to check on their website to see if they make a riser for the Scrambler 1200XC.

Yeah. I checked out the diagrams and it looks like the only difference between the XC and XE bar clamps is the color and that the XE's have a small removable spacer. Unfortunately, it only looks to be about 1/2 inch or so of rise, and doesn't move the bars back any. I'm hoping to bring the bars up about an inch and back about an inch.

Ended up figuring out something that worked well for me. Posting in case anyone else has the same desire...

Pretty much exactly what I wanted, good rise plus a little back, and they aren't going to look too out of place. On top of that I found a set of demo units from revzilla that were only $70. Seems like a lot for what they are, but it's still a good savings over the retail price.

Risers received and installed. I was even able to use the stock triumph top-clamp, but had to cut some plastic crush shims to install between the clamp and riser. Gave me the rise and pullback I was after, and doesn't look too bad either.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. I put Rox Risers on my XC last year. Pretty sure I described that in a Scrambler 1200 thread I started. Be careful, I have had starting and shifting issues due to a tight clutch cable. Baxter Cycle helped me out, and the risers are still in place without a problem, but I altered the handlebar position to take slack off the clutch cable. I need to clean/touch up the black on the bars though. Looks worse in the pics.

Thanks for the warning. Are those the 2" risers? If so, that could be why you had trouble. Mine don't move em quite as far as those. They did make my clutch cable a tiny bit tight at full left lock, but I just adjusted it. No issues on mine to this point.

Yes. Those are two inch risers. Yes, just keep it adjusted and it will likely be fine. I am 6'6", so I wish I had even more.

BTW, can anybody tell me the diameter of the handlebars on the XC and XE? Some phone mounts are sold by handlebar diameter and have different parts for 7/8" or 1" and 1 1/8". Not easy to find that info.

I can go and look that up for you, but ultimately I wound up having to take them off. As I adjust the handlebars it was just too much tension on the cables, and I was having issues with starting the bike, switching gears, etc. I do not recommend them. Maybe shorter, like 1 in, would work.
