I attended the first annual AIMExpo last Saturday. Most big name vendors were there. All of the major helmet manufactureers were there. So I got to try on many different helmets. I was really impressed with the Shark line. I had never tried a Shark before.

Most of the motorcycle manufactures only had a small presence if at all. They were all at Daytona Beach for Octoberfest. Kymko had a big presence as did Suzuki. Yamaha had big presence with their four wheelers. There were three courses outside where you could try 4 wheelers or dirt bikes and they had a course where you can ride your own dual sport bike. It was well worht the $15.00 admission.

I was one of the early arrivals and that had its benefits. I was the first dual sport rider to ride their outside course.

I tried that new Sharl helmet that we have a thread on. It was very comfortable and would make an excellent dual purpose helmet. It converts easily to a 3/4 open face helmet.

There were about 80 vintage bikes on display and we could vote on them for the show winner. The Japanese Motorcycle Vintage Club had a big presence.

This is an amphibious 4 wheeler. The wheels retract in the water. It will do 40 mph on land and 40 mph in the water. I got to try it out as passenger - and I rode home wet! It is awesome and you can have one for $43,000 USD.

The Shark helmets always got great reviews from owners but I am not into these modular helmets at all. Some really COOL looking bikes there, I would love to have a go on a few of then BGRIN
