I have just got my America on the road after having single cylinder running, I tried all the usual things ie cleaned out carbs (twice) fitted new spark plugs and leads , swapped the coils and checked the wiring connections but it still wouldn't run on both cylinders just the left. I read a post from a guy in the USA who had the same problem and the more I researched the more people I found with the same problem, it was in all cases the ICU, now Triumphs wanted over £400, but a lot of people recommend a company called TTP ( triumph twin power) who do the same unit but re-map it for a little over £200, I ordered said unit which arrived in 2 days fitted it and (touch wood) she's running like a dream.
