Scrambler
Ever since I have had my Scrambler I have not really been happy with the position of the gear lever.
I have tried adjusting it on the splines, but believe it or not by moving it one spline, it raises/lowers the pedal end by 23mm! There are some after market ones available but they are in the region of £75 for a lever, so I set about making an adjustable one myself.
Here are a couple of shots showing the difference 1 spline makes,

I only wanted to raise the pedal by around 10mm and position it around 5mm further away from the foot peg, so this is what I came up with made from some 25mm x 4.5mm mild steel that I had in the shed.

After a road test trying various positions I painted the metal plate and assembled it using delta adhesive to make sure it stays put!

And this is the finished job, I did 100 miles today and it is now in the perfect position and only cost a couple of hours in the shed!
