In the January 2011 issue of Rider Magazine, staff writer Clement Salvadori, wrote an article about his experience with his 2006 T100 Bonneville on the Bonneville salt flats.
His bike was entered in the "Run watcha Brung" class and his best speed was only 105.957 mph.
I've done "the ton" many times on various bikes so that's no longer on my bucket list, but I was a little surprised at the modest speed as I thought the bike would do better.
The article doesn't mention any modifications, but from the pictures the bike has a 2-into-1 exhaust system.
A lady rider on a stock 2005 Bonneville ran 106.9. Clem attributes that to her smaller size and lighter weight so I'm guessing that his bike is also stock except for the exhaust system.
