I miss dirt, sold my CRF450 set up for desert riding in 2005.
I miss having missed the opportunity. I had a neighbor as a kid that had two trail bikes, one was more of a beginner moto cross type. Never got to try that one, my parents moved us to Texas! LoL. Didn’t find or have friends that had any motorcycles after that point. When I got to the age I could get a license at 17 I wanted to look into getting a motorcycle. My parents nixed that idea early. It was simply NO.

Apparently that 250 Triumph has been doing quite well on the motocross circuit. I read a few articles but cannot recall right now where I saw them.

The testers really like the bike but some say the shifting is notchy . I wouldn’t put up with that . The new 450 is excellent too and I think it shifts fine . I gave up motocross to start a family , often think I should have just done both ..

Triumph was smart bringing Ricky Carmichael onboard.
Returning a favour .
When Bombardier started Can Am they had a world champion Brit , Jeff Smith do the whole project . Ala Triumph they used the top frame tube as an oil tank . I talked to Mr Smith on the phone once , have no idea what about but I easily recall that he referred to machines as “ The bye cycle “.

First year bugs maybe. I’m sure Triumph will address those type issues.
