Happy to be here, and happy to soon be part of the Triumph family. I've been riding since 1978 (adding 19 to the 78 just makes me feel old), in various parts of the world while serving in the RAF. So originally from England but I've been here in Orlando Florida for over 30 years.
I've been renting for too long, just riding occasionally while raising my family. Now it's time to get back into ownership, which I'm hoping will be a 2018 Tiger 1200 XRT sometime next week.
Looking forward to the journey.
Cheers,

Welcome to TT from Eastern Canada.
Hope you like the TEX(Tiger EXplorer).
If you haven't taken it for a ride yet make sure to ride it in the heat and slower traffic if possible to see if you can tolerate the heat that comes off them. They like to cook the nether region a bit too much for some.

More so than Hogs? I've ridden Harley's in the Florida heat, and they can be a but much, but not too much to put a damper on the ride. But I will definitely have a chance to check this out when I test ride next week.
Cheers,

I can sympathize with cooking. Was sitting a bit too forward on my Thruxton and got a slight burn in my thigh. Take precautions and learn what suits the bike and you. Avoiding traffic is always good, you tend to be cooler moving than sitting still.

Quick update - I found a 2023 'still in the crate' Baja Orange 850 Sport yesterday. I pulled the trigger, and this is my new ride - well will be on Tuesday once they have built the bike. I think this is the perfect 're-entry' bike to get me back into ownership. Then maybe in the future I will trade up to the 1200. Happy riding!
