We have been walking in the mountains in Wales last week. Here's a few pics.

Memorial at Llyn Geirionydd, at the birthplace of Taliesin, 6th century poet.

St Celynin Church dating back to the 12th century high above Rowen.

Llanrhychwyn Church dating back to the 11th Century.

Can't remember where I took this!

This is an old roman road called Sarn Helen leading to Dolwyddelan.

Found this 'incandescent' button on the camera, makes an interesting effect.

Conwy Castle in the valley.

Same here; I love your picture threads. Wales oozes history.
I've been to England but not Wales and I was enthralled by the history around every corner.

Lovely part of the world.I have an aunt who lives in North Wales,Garndolbenmain or something similar. Just wish I could figure out how to pronounce some of the place names!
