well the weather was sh*t today so i decided to do the wheels on the tiger , the tiger is a tidy bike but the wheels are terrible.
the rims are baddly corroded so i thought i could sort them with my polishing kit,,,,but no chance so it was a wire brush a rag and some autosol and elbow grease .....lots and lots of elbow grease :y7:.

harry.. i have the exact same set and they are brilliant ! but for very badly corroded stuff , there not quite ebrasive enough to take out the pitting .
but saying that .....mine are all very worn now , ive had it 10 years or so and its done a lot of work ! my mops are half the size of those now. maybe its time for a new set !

Good to hear youve had success with the set
A few years ago after having a dent repaired, I stripped the paint finish of my speedmaster front wheel and polished it.
After using paintstripper to get the worst of the paint off, I used 3M paint stripping wheels in a drill and wet and dry paper down to 1500 grit before I hit it with Autosol and a mop.
