A comment by the older gentleman on "Pawn Stars" last night hit home for me. He said, "What most people today do not understand is that during WWII, the entire country was focused on winning the war. The entire population of the USA worked for the war effort in some manner."There doesn't seem to be anything today that can capture a unified purpose for this country. Too many people are focused on their own goals to worry about helping someone else.......
Spot on. That was a very different time.
