I'm looking for a 3-in-1 system for my speed triple 2007. I found a lot of different options but it's still not clear to me if the Kat on or off is a choice or if I have to change the original one to fit the silencers.
Can someone help me.
What do I need to mKe the modification?
Silencer and fitting parts and anything else?

Thanks

Luca

Hiya

I have the same model as you, however mine being the South African model it never had a cat.

I fitted the Two Brothers pipe to mine, which includes the link pipe from under the footpeg to the silencer itself.

It is rather loud, however it's a nice deep growl, not a screaming in-line-4 sewing machine. :>

Here's a link to my album of the pipe

I think the total weight saving was in the region of 12 or 14 kg's.

Had a D&D exhaust on my Speedy a few years back (loved that bike --totally "tweaked" by the p.o. who owned a Triumph shop--couldn't begin to remember all he did to it but claimed 150 hp at the wheel) had to sell it before it killed me.....LOVED that bike and that growl from the pipe was the sweetest music to my ears EVER! Bike hated going slow and never liked to be on 2 wheels, upgraded brakes made you have to use 1 finger to stop it if you grabbed a handful of brake back wheel left the ground and if you took off in 1st. the front wheel left the ground. Called it Widow Maker for a reason......or the BLack B*&%# depending on my mood. LoL.

Great work and dynamite looking bike! Enjoy the sweet music:y2:

Do you have the upgraded race mapping yet????? Dynojet Power Commander or some such? If not check into it, nice little uprade and increases HP even more..... (in evil laugh while wringing hands) muwahhahhaaaa

Hey thanks. How does a Dynojet Power Commander works? It implement something or it substitute something?!?
With it do I still need a remapping or not?

It adjust the air fuel mixture electronically working with the bikes computer and makes the bike run smoother and more efficiently with the new muffler. The computers mapping was designed for the factory muffler adn to meet rigid air pollution standards. Remapping or using a Dynojet you can "dial in" the way YOU want the bike to run.

I'm running a TFI, it's a poor mans Power Commander. You can only add fuel with this system, no leaning out.
It sit's in between the original harness connectors and the injectors.
Got a bit more mid range with this.

I checked out Dynojet But they are pricy!!!! I will keep it in mind for  better days!!
Can you upload the arrow 3-in-1 map by yourself or do you need to go to a triumph dealer?!?

You can do it yourself if you own a Tuneboy system.

Basically you download the software then buy a cable. (this cable and key code is the anti-piracy part of the program)

Once you've got the software and cable setup you can download any map you like and upload it (via usb) to the bike. You're over writing the OEM ECU, which you can save of course to your laptop.
This is probably one of the better solutions to software maps, as if you know what you're doing you can modify any map you like to suit your bike.

However, on the other hand, if you don't know what you're doing you could seriously screw up your bike, it might not even start. This is why most people just download the correct map for their bike setup and load it into their ECU without any editing.

You can use google to search for TUNEBOY, they work on Triumphs, KTM's and another brand which escapes me right now.
