Rockers, leather boys or ton-up boys are members of a bikersubculture that originated in the United Kingdom during the 1950s. It was mainly centred on British café racer motorcycles and Rock’n’Roll music. By 1965, the term greaser had also been introduced to Great Britain and, since then, the terms greaser and rocker have become synonymous within the British Isles although used differently in North America and elsewhere. Rockers were also derisively known as Coffee Bar Cowboys.

Brilliant photo's, I have some of these and I love to look at them and think that if I could go back in time, that is the era that I'd think I'd be happy in. I agree with Harper, for me a true cafe racer just has to have a Brit engine in it. My mate Chris was around at this time and he wouldn't have missed it for the world.
Nice find Dave
