The Triumph Scrambler 1200 sits towards the very top of the Britsh manufacturer’s ‘Modern Classics’ range and is the bigger sibling to the Street Scrambler in the 2022 Triumph Motorcycles portfolio. The bike is available in two variants — a base Scrambler 1200 XC and a more off-road-focused Scrambler 1200 XE.

Both variants are powered by a 1,200cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces 89 hp and 81.1 lb-ft of torque. Triumph has mentioned that it has tuned the engine for a strong low- and mid-range, typical of what you’d expect from a scrambler.

The Scrambler 1200 XC and Scrambler 1200 XE also shared similar hardware. The 1200 XC features a fully-adjustable 45mm Showa USD fork and fully-adjustable twin shock absorbers from Ohlins, both offering 200mm of travel. Meanwhile, the 1200 XE gets a thicker 47mm Showa fork and the same Ohlins unit at the rear, with 250mm of travel at either end.

While the Scrambler 1200 XC offers five riding modes (Rain, Road, Off-Road, Sport, and Rider), the Scrambler 1200 XC gets an additional Off-Road Pro mode. Triumph Motorcycles has also equipped the XE with cornering ABS, cornering traction control, and heated grips. Features like regular ABS, traction control, cruise control, and a full-color TFT display are standard on both variants.

The 2022 Triumph Scrambler 1200 starts at $14,445 USD / $15,645 CAD.

I dont konw who put these specs together ? but im sure the 1200 scrambler doesn't have a triple engine and 148bhp ?
