The Bobber still remains a desirable motorcycle thanks to its styling
Triumph has launched the 2021 Bonneville Bobber at an asking price of Rs. 11.75 lakhs (ex-showroom, India), today.
Available in 3 colour options – Matt Storm grey and Matt Ironstone, Cordovan Red and Jet Black – the 2021 Bobber is powered by 1200cc, liquid cooled, parallel twin engine.
Peak power output of the motor is rated at 78 PS at 6100 RPM and maximum torque of 106 Nm arrives at 4000 RPM. Thanks to the ride-by-wire system, the 2021 Bobber comes with 2 riding modes (Road and Rain).
Visually, there are few bikes which would please a biker like the Triumph Bobber. Be it the fat tyres, circular LED headlight, LED bullet indicators, wide bars, shapely fuel tank, the suspended single seat, neat rear fender, or the peashooter silencers, the motorcycle is a treat to one’s eyes.
But, Triumph had to be clever to retain the bike’s styling. For example, the twin airbox intakes are located under the seat, while the exhaust pipe conceals the catalyst box.
For 2021, the instruments come with an LCD display, a new bezel and dial face, and more integrated warning lights and the cluster is adjustable as well.
The 2021 Triumph Bobber price gets customers chunkier (and new) 47mm Showa front forks, a mono-shock at the rear, wire-spoked wheels with black rims, Brembo 2-piston front calipers with twin 310 mm discs and 255 mm rear disc clamped by a single piston Nissin caliper.
When it comes to safety, the 2021 Triumph Bobber price will only get ABS and switchable traction control, while a range of 77 accessories are on offer for the motorcycle as well.
