First post. Sorry if this has been posted before but I could not locate it.

I recently purchased a steel headlight bucket from BAAK (without the speedo) to replace the stock, plastic bucket on 2017 T120. I took the lamp off and discovered the volume of wires and other components 'hidden' inside the stock bucket. Looking at the headlight bucket from BAAK...it seemed impossible all the existing wiring was going to fit. BAAK's reply to me was, "you can just cut the wires and solder them back in." Not a lot of help. This is beyond my capabilities -- ripping my headlight apart, unpacking and repacking all the wiring both inside the bucket...and what was located on the back of the light itself, then re-attaching it...expecting it all to work. I was told all these wirings were for certain bike components such as, traction control, ABS, ride modes, etc. I have the Hanes manual, downloaded the OEM guides, etc. and nothing clarifies what all these wires are there to do...or which one is which. Anyone with any insight on this? I do know the headlight assembly serious changed with the new T120's. Thanks for reading.

Welcome to the forum from the opposite coast. Unless you are really proficient with electronics and wiring, I would leave it stock or you may be in for a world of grief.

I was afraid of that...my goal is to remove the plastic from the bike. I will post some pictures soon.
