Does anyone know if the 2017 T120 fork reflectors are amenable to the old WD40 and string removal method ??
All part of my moving the new retro back to 1969.

Let me answer my own question....
Yes. Just take some dental floss and saw them off then clean the fork legs with Goo Be Gone and something softish (plastic or wood) to clean the sticky stuff off and viola !
This removal is due to my striving to make the 2017 T120 look more like a 1969 Bonneville (lusted after one in high school but my part time Macdonalds gig would only support a Honda CB77).
I replaced the front and rear turn signals (they are hideous circa 1976 Honda - thanks, Euro 4 regulations) with the small black Rizoma LED signals/running lights and also removed the oblong side and round rear reflectors from the brake light assembly and you can barely see the turn signal units unless they're being activated.
Now much more retro and still a blast to ride.

I didn't see this until just now. I haven't done it to a T120 but from what I've seen of the bikes I would have said yes it could be done that way. . . but then again, you answered your question before I saw the question. TUP

Fork reflectors are removable with a hairdryer. Take time and you can remove them without glue residue, otherwise glue residue with washing benzine.
