Hello folks- first post here as a newbie :-) Hoping to gain your knowledge and experience on a few issues-
1. Tried to install a factory center stand kit but it appears my non-CA bike has the CA evap canister installed nevertheless and it will be in the way of the center stand's
path. So I was hoping someone might post a step-by-step removal instruction list or video for this procedure. Can't seem to find one on the 'net.
2. While I'm at it , I'm thinking it would also be a good time to remove the AIR system- for which I've bought the kit with correct engine and airbox plugs. I know how
that one is removed.
3. With that said, for now I'd like to keep the stock airbox and mufflers- just would like to get rid of these 2 systems. Will this require any ECU re-flashing for proper
operation?
4. Also- in the future, if I do decide to remove the airbox (BC airbox removal kit) and add Predator mufflers, what is the suggested ECU re-flash program most
appropriate for these mods?

Thanks very much for any advice and for this wonderful forum!

I have a 2005 Thruxton originally a California model it had both the AI system and evap system removed before I received it. I completed the system removal of the airbox. It had non factory mufflers installed. I know mine is a carb version and yours is not. Mine needed a jet upgrade even before my full completion. I suspect with pretty much 100 percent confidence you need to reprogram your Thruxton. Good luck.
