100,000 miles on an 01 Bonnie

CC Rider, the owner of the New Triumph Bonneville Forum, just turned over 100,000 miles on his Bonnie. He has done no major work to it other than routine maintenance and he did install a Barrett clutch. I think 100,000 miles is outstanding and a tribute to the engineering of the new Bonneville family. I'm not surprised at the high mileage. Regular oil and filter changes and other servicing coupled with a moderate throttle hand affords a bike a long life.
I only have 8000+ km's on my T100 so I have along way to go :ya2:

100,000 miles and 113,000 miles is a whole lot of riding. I just have a little over 100,000 on my truck! I am impressed.

Rocky, you are right. Proper maintenance is the key to long engine life. CC Rider is a good mechanic and does all of his own maintenance. I'm not sure about his throttle hand, though. :y114: Seriously, he does not abuse the bike.
