'07 955 Tiger - Coil problem

I've been having a misfire problem on my Tiger when applying throttle in a high gear but at relatively low revs (if you see what I mean).

I just had it on a dyno and the operator reckons that it is a coil on the way out. A friend has a 2001 Daytona, does anyone know if the coils from this will fit the Tiger? We are hoping to be able to use one of his coils to diagnose the faulty one on mine.

It appears as if they would from what I see online however there maybe some "unseen" difference I would give the folks at bikebandit.com or other parts s ite an email to see if the parts are interchangeable.

I know they are "essentially" the same motor but thats a 6 year difference in models and I do know the Tiger is tuned different than the Daytona. Would be curious to learn what you find though.

Why not just switch the coils and see if the misfire moves to another cylinder too?

At the present I know it has a misfire but not on which cylinder

However I have now found out that most 955 engines from that era use the same coils and there are plenty on eBay
