Born in New Zealand in 1955 and lived in Australia since 1986. In my teens and early 20's lived, breathed and played with motorcycles, the majority being Triumphs, raced in motor cross and road racing in NZ. Enjoy the twisties on the TSS, live on a hobby farm with lovely wife and 3 teenage kids. Sailed the worlds oceans on square rig ships for 13 years and served in the Merchant Navy for a further 13 years. Owned Triumphs for 40 years. Enjoying getting down and dirty on the Tiger.

Tiger: Raised side stand mount 10mm to stop scraping on LH corners, redesigned under seat helmet hooks, relocated starter solenoid fuse to make it accessible, auxillary power socket, hand guards, headlight protector, center stand, tank protector, radiator guard,

TSS: Full restoration, PL Williams oil pressure gauge, screw on oil filter in return line, Dunstall mufflers (the originals are safely packed away as they are impossible to replace), stainless steel valves with hardened seats.

Other information about my bikes
The TSS was transformed after fitting the Dunstall mufflers. The originals are very restrictive and constrain the power of the 8 valve engine. Very satisfying classic to ride. Fitted new, modern material clutch plates and now the clutch plates free easily.

T160: Purchased August 2012 with 476 kms on the clock. Spent the first 35 years of its life in a motorcycle museum with only 5 kms on clock. A lovely new, old motorcycle.
